The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has existed since 2008 and will continue to be a big deal for another several years, but... it is a LOT of story to follow.

Luckily, they are improving on making these things work more independently of each other, so you, much like their comic book counterparts, will be able to follow what's going on without having to 456865577655 hours of other stuff.
