Disney obviously has their MCU, but for the past 4 Years there's been a couple different Marvel Cinematic Universes brewing from Sony Pictures. Marvel Studios and Sony, back in 2015, reached a deal for them to share the film rights to Spider-Man characters. That's how the MCU can have Spider-Man, whilst Sony can still put out their own "Sony Spider-Man Universe" (VENOM 1, 2 & 3 Films, MORBIUS Film, etc.) and their Animated Spider-Verse Trilogy (SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, etc.).
But, there is also a bit of an interesting connection between to the two Sony Spider-Man Universes here, with one of the Post-Credits Scenes of "VENOM" being a teaser of "SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE", even directly implying through text on-screen that they're in the Same Multiverse as each other, saying "Meanwhile, in Another Universe..."
So, to fully understand how to enjoy these two Sony Marvel Universes together, let's breakdown a Timeline of events here in the best way I think it works in something I like to call the "Sony Spider-Verse."
