Superman. The Sandman. Physically-Mutated Skin-to-Skin Horror. Vengeful Bambi.
There's some excellent looking Movies & Shows coming out This Month, even a few Original stuff. Here's my personal list:
THE SANDMAN: THE FINAL SEASON - JULY 3-31
The honestly underrated Netflix show, adapting the DC Comics of the same name, thankfully got saved from likely cancellation thanks to the fans, and especially thanka to how good/well-receieved it is. This will also being the Adaptation of The Sandman Universe to an end, with (sadly) the only other story is the Cancelled show "Dead Boy Detectives".
SUPERMAN (2025) - JULY 11
Do I even need to say why this is anticipated? It's the real start of a Brand New 'DCU'. It's the arrival of a New Superman & Lois. It's the real test of the strength of the DCU, to hopefully see how it could finally succeed on its own apart from the MCU's shadow. The world needs hope right now, and maybe this'll help provide it...
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (2025) - JULY 18
Full honesty: I wasn't that excited for this originally. It just seemed like a studio-decision choice to try and capitalize on the current trend of Remakes, Requels and Reboots. However, I was also someone who didn't see the original films for this series. Now I have seen them, and now I'm actually intrigued by the story choice they're going with here, having a separate incident involving modern-day teenagers somehow link back and affect the past incidents from previous movies... Go on...
THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS - JULY 25
The New Beginning Era of the MCU begins here! This is when things will start to collide/crossover with each other again. This is when we get our first look at the New Direction the MCU will be taking, by focusing more on Quality projects instead of a large Quantity of projects. This is when more excitement comes back to the MCU, especially thanks to this particular film with its 1960s-Style to it, it's Fun/Happy Charm and this almost Classic Superhero Story-Feel to it. On top of incredible actors in it, let's hope this'll bring even more Fun into the MCU!
BAMBI: THE RECKONING - JULY 25
The 4th Entry in the Underrated "The Twisted Childhood Universe", the same universe as the Horror "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" films, I'm definitely intrigued by this particular entry, as it's turning the tragic Bambi story into a revenge tale of the deer fighting back. With full monster-style fighting back occurring here, with ultimate deer-mayhem ensuing, so excited for this one!
TOGETHER - JULY 30
An Original Story with a very interesting, exciting plot and with Big Actors in it, this is EXACTLY what y'all are asking more for: More Original Movies. And with it being a horror tale of two people literally getting physically, skin-to-skin, fused together, that's especially up my particular alley!
